OmniArchive is a turnkey imaging archival and distribution system. Simply set OmniArchive as your destination for CR, DR and any other DICOM modalities. Your images will be stored on redundant RAID 1 or RAID 5 hard drives and can be immediately accessed by OmniVue® diagnostic viewing software.


OmniArchive uses the DICOM Storage SCP to allow images from CR, DR, CT, MR, US, NM and any other DICOM modality to be received and stored automatically. OmniArchive utilizes an SQL database for security and scalability. Thanks to an embedded DICOM file compressor, images can be stored as DICOM uncompressed or lossless JPG to maximize storage space.


OmniArchive servers comes pre-configured and pre-tested from Genesis in any number of scalable storage sizes – from a few thousand to over a million DICOM images. Multiple images can be received from multiple modalities, and multiple servers can be linked across the network. OmniArchive supports Query & Retrieve SCP and is the perfect central archive for multiple diagnostic workstations and Web-based concurrent viewers.

Auto Routing

After storing DICOM images, OmniArchive allows the user to automatically send images to another destination. Using DICOM Storage SCU, OmniArchive can automatically route images to an offsite archive for disaster recovery, to a physician’s desk for a second read or to a permanent location for centralized storage of multiple clinics.

Every OmniArchive system comes bundled with multiple copies of the industry-leading OmniVue® and OmniVue® Web diagnostic viewing software, which will easily access and view images stored on the OmniArchive database.



OmniOne is an “All-in-One” PACS system with a full-featured SQL database for secure archiving of all DICOM images. OmniOne features diagnostic viewing of digital images on a 24” Widescreen 2MP monitor with portrait and landscape orientation. Images can be sent to off-site locations via the Internet using HIPAA-compliant encryption.

Image Archiving

Image Transmission

OmniOne combines the security of a redundant image repository with the convenience of image transmission to an off-site facility for radiology interpretation and disaster recovery. Using the Internet, OmniOne applies HIPAA-compliant encryption & decryption to bring full DICOM images to your offsite location. If transmission is broken, OmniOne automatically re-establishes connection and resumes transmission at the exact point of disconnect to avoid data loss.

Reliable Hardware

Every OmniOne is pre-tested and pre-configured on a reliable Dell hardware platform. Dual 500 GB RAID 1 hard drives provide necessary redundancy. Each OmniOne is equipped with an uninterruptible power supply to ensure image integrity in case of power failure.

OmniVue’s patient database is logically presented to help you find the information you need, quickly. Patient, study and series information is user-defined, and each category can be selected simply by clicking on the category name to prioritize by patient name, ID, date and all other DICOM fields. The images can be displayed on a diagnostic monitor and the patient database can remain on a separate LCD monitor to maximize workflow.

Image Manipulation

OmniVue® provides all the advanced image manipulation tools you require to effectively diagnose the image on your screen. The tools you use most often are always available by simply clicking the right mouse button while the image is displayed (Window & Level, Pan & Zoom, Stack & Tile View, Mag & True Size Image, Arrow & Annotation). The OmniVue® toolbar can be positioned on either the top or left hand side of the screen to maximize both portrait and landscape display monitors.


OmniVue Web

OmniVue® Web takes the best features of OmniVue and makes them available to any computer with an Internet connection. With a secure User Name and Password login, you are able to access patient images from OmniArchive PACS systems over the Web, using the same familiar tools you have come to trust from Genesis Digital Imaging.

Image Manipulation

OmniVue® Web provides all the advanced image manipulation tools you require to effectively review the image on your screen. The toolbar icons are identical to OmniVue Viewing software, and for consistency, the same as OmniVue “mini-viewer” software you have seen on patient CDs. Omni-Ortho™, the world’s leading orthopedic digital planning solution offers pre-operative planning and templating for joint replacement and trauma procedures as well as a comprehensive set of tools for general and pediatric assessment.

By following a traditional pre-operative planning methodology, Omni-Ortho allows the surgeon to quickly and accurately template in a ‘filmless’ environment. It allows rapid retrieval of digital images, however they are stored, and access to an extensive library of digital templates.

Omni-Ortho joint replacement planning consists of a simple four step process. All, or a combination of, the four steps may be employed depending on the procedure to be planned.


Omni-Ortho’s one-click scaling allows for quick and accurate calibration of the image when using a radiographic marker. Alternatively, an estimated oversize percentage can be entered.


Omni-Ortho contains a number of unique wizards. These are digital frameworks which can be positioned over key bony landmarks. Assessments made by the wizards are used to size and position the digital templates. Omni-Ortho’s toolset enables a wide variety of anatomical measurements and assessments to be carried out including osteotomy planning. The Pediatric Assessment Module (PAM) contains specialist tools for evaluation of DDH and other congenital deformities.


Omni-Ortho recommends positions and sizes of templates if the planning wizards have been used. Adjustments can easily be made by clicking through the sets of template options or by moving them manually. Alternatively, manual sizing and positioning of the digital template can be carried out, as if it were an acetate.


A comprehensive report, including templated images is produced. This can be printed, saved back to the PACS, saved to CD or saved locally.

How It Works

  • OmniLink software receives a DICOM image file via DICOM push over a local area network
  • DICOM image is secured via OmniLink‘s lossless compression & password encryption – to satisfy HIPAA requirements
  • OmniLink Send Module transmits the encrypted file via TCP/IP over the Internet (no VPN required)
  • At the destination, OmniLink Receive Module (a free software download) accepts the encrypted file
  • OmniLink automatically starts a decryption process to produce the original, unaltered DICOM file
  • The DICOM image is now pushed by OmniLink to multiple PACS and Viewing Software locations over the local area network
  • If the connection is broken or lost, OmniLink will automatically reconnect and resume the file transfer.
