Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic purchases state-of-the-art Cone Beam CT unit

The Carestream OnSight 3D Extremity System provides them with pristine 3D images at the point of care. In addition, its unique easy-open bore and patient access allows them to obtain weight-bearing studies not possible with traditional CT units. The high-resolution images help physicians extend their care by helping to reveal subtle or occult fractures. Another nice feature is OnSight's advanced scatter and metal artifact correction algorithms that help to improve the visibility of patient anatomy and reduce the distraction often caused by metal implants.

After announcing earlier in the year, a planned $2.3 million-dollar investment towards urgent care centers in metro Atlanta, things are starting to take shape. Tenet has opened their North Fulton Urgent Care site and plans are already in the works for the next facility. The newly completed clinic will offer laboratory testing as well as digital radiography. Capital X-Ray has been selected to provide all radiological supplies and equipment services on the four Alabama Health Services Incorporated locations -- Southside Clinic, Lister Hill, Ramer Health, & Montgomery Primary Care. In addition, Capital X-Ray was also awarded the recent equipment contract for HSI's newest location, the River Region Health Center.
